Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of SMS Lifesciences Ind, Ashima Ltd, Shradha Infraproject, Excel Realty N Infra and IRIS Business Services, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 44.3 points down at 22888.15 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Priti International, Future Supply Chain, Revathi Equipment, Ebixcash World Money and Karda Const, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Grasim Inds. and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ports SEZ, Power Grid, BPCL, Coal India Ltd and Adani Ent. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 220.05 points down at 75170.45.

Traders piled up positions in Building Materials, Metals - Non Ferrous, Agro Processing, Pharmaceuticals and FMCG sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Defence, Electric/Electronics, Power and Banks sectors during the day.
