Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Kirloskar Bros., Kirloskar Pneumatic, ABB Power, D-Link(India)and Associated Alch, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kirloskar Bros., Kirloskar Pneumatic, ABB Power, D-Link(India)and Associated Alch, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 17.3 points down at 22200.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Butterfly Gandhi, Future Supply Chain, GSS Infotech, Mask Investments and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Cipla, BPCL, Bharti Airtel and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors and HDFC Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 117.58 points down at 72987.03.

Traders piled up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment, Airlines, Mining and Engineering sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cement, Banks, Media & Entertainment, Cables and Building Materials sectors during the day.
