Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aarti Pharmalabs, Peninsula Land, HG Infra Engg, BASF India and MRO-TEK Realty, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 113.8 points up at 22217.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as GSS Infotech, Medico Remedies, Future Supply Chain, IRB InvIT Fund and Mask Investments, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 34 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., M&M, Hero MotoCorp, L&T and JSW Steel were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, TCS, Nestle India, Tata Consumer and Axis Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 328.48 points up at 73104.61.

Traders piled up positions in Defence, Term Lending Institutions, Aquaculture, Infrastructure and Power sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tea / Coffee, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Beverages - Alcoholic, IT Software and Services sectors during the day.
