Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Selan Expl Tech, Allsec Tech, Arvind Ltd, Godrej Consumer and Century Enka, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 140.21 points down at 22302.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Signpost India, Atal Realtech, Future Supply Chain, Best Agrolife and Authum Investment, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, Tech Mahindra, Britannia, Nestle India and TCS were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Auto, Power Grid, ONGC, IndusInd Bank and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 383.69 points down at 73511.85.

Traders piled up positions in FMCG, Tobacco, Telecommunications, Retail and Leather sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Rubber, Cement, Construction and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
