Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of JNK India, Jana Small Finance B, Likhitha Infra, Pudumjee Paper Prod and ABB Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 38.56 points down at 22604.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Osia Hyper Retail, Sheela Foam, Popular Vehicles, Gloster and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Power Grid, Shriram Finance, Hero MotoCorp and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, BPCL, JSW Steel, HCL Tech and Dr. Reddys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 188.5 points down at 74482.78.

Traders piled up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Industrial Consumables, Retail, Tyres and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Construction, Media & Entertainment, Cement and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
