Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Archidply Ind, Supreme Ind., Lloyds Steels, Aegis Logistics and SMC Global Secur, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Archidply Ind, Supreme Ind., Lloyds Steels, Aegis Logistics and SMC Global Secur, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 223.46 points up at 22643.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MPS Infotecnics, Atal Realtech, Future Supply Chain, Gloster and Popular Vehicles, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank, UltraTech Cem. and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while HCL Tech, Apollo Hospital, Bajaj Auto, HDFC Life and LTIMindtree ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 941.12 points up at 74671.28.

Traders piled up positions in Plastics, Banks, Sugar, Term Lending Institutions and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Cables, IT - Hardware, Media & Entertainment and Cement sectors during the day.
