Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Raj Oil Mills, Kirloskar Pneumatic, ABB Power, GPT Infraproj and MOIL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Raj Oil Mills, Kirloskar Pneumatic, ABB Power, GPT Infraproj and MOIL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 167.95 points up at 22570.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Kotak Bank, Dalmia Bharat, Atal Realtech, GIR Natureview and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 40 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, SBI, Dr. Reddys, JSW Steel and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while Kotak Bank, LTIMindtree, HUL, Titan Company and SBI Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 486.5 points up at 74339.44.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, IT Enabled Services, Irrigation & Allied Services, Tobacco and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cement, Trading, Cables, Tourism & Hospitality and Construction sectors during the day.
