Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Raj Oil Mills, Steel City Securitie, Chennai Petro, Yuken India and Aegis Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Raj Oil Mills, Steel City Securitie, Chennai Petro, Yuken India and Aegis Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 34.41 points up at 22402.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Atal Realtech, GIR Natureview, BDR Buildcon, IndInfravit Trust and Ahimsa Industries L, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Cipla, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Consumer, Grasim Inds., Tech Mahindra, HDFC Life and TCS ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 114.49 points up at 73852.94.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Beverages - Alcoholic, Metals - Ferrous, Defence and Glass sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cables, Trading, IT Software, Media & Entertainment and Cement sectors during the day.
