Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Smartlink Holdings, Tejas Networks, Sudarshan Chemical, Cochin Shipyard and Indraprastha Med, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 31.6 points up at 22368.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Tembo Global Indust, Atal Realtech, Best Agrolife, GIR Natureview and Lakshmi Precis, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 29 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Inds., Bharti Airtel, Nestle India, Maruti Suzuki and HCL Tech were among top gainers during the day, while Sun Pharma, BPCL, RIL, M&M and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 89.83 points up at 73738.45.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Textiles, Tea / Coffee, Aquaculture and Real Estate sectors, while selling was witnessed in Hospitals & Allied Services, Trading, Cement, Media & Entertainment and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors during the day.
