Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hindustan Motor, Premier Exp, Lloyds Steels, Skipper Ltd(PP)and Kalyani Invst, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 189.41 points up at 22336.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MEP Infrastructure, CMI Ltd, Sumeet Ind, Sheela Foam and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 44 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Tata Consumer, Eicher Motors, L&T and Shriram Finance were among top gainers during the day, while NTPC, HDFC Bank, JSW Steel, IndusInd Bank and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 560.29 points up at 73648.62.

Traders piled up positions in Airlines, Telecommunications, Sugar, Consumer Durables and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Media & Entertainment, Cement, Tea / Coffee and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors during the day.
