Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of AAA Technologies, Exicom Tele-Systems, NGL Fine Chem, Just Dial and Bhagiradha Chem, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 152.06 points down at 21995.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MEP Infrastructure, Ibull Housing Fin(PP), Keerti Knowledge, GIR Natureview and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 8 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto, LTIMindtree and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Titan Company, Nestle India, Coal India Ltd and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 454.69 points down at 72488.99.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Irrigation & Allied Services, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Electric/Electronics and Consumer Durables sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Trading, Defence, Cables and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors during the day.
