Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Senco Gold, Ashiana Housing, Selan Expl Tech, Puravankara and Mahalaxmi Rub, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 246.91 points down at 22272.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MEP Infrastructure, Best Agrolife, SRM Contractors, Gopal Snacks and Rana Sugars, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 6 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Hindalco, Maruti Suzuki, Nestle India and Britannia were among top gainers during the day, while Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Wipro, ICICI Bank and Adani Ports SEZ ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 845.12 points down at 73399.78.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Gas & Petroleum, IT - Hardware, ReIT and InvIT sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Agro Processing, Trading, Construction and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
