Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ganges Securities, Emkay Global, Jubilant Ingrevia, DC Infotech and GKW Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 111.05 points up at 22753.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Melstar Info, GIR Natureview, Websol Energy, Lakshmi Precis and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 31 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, BPCL, Kotak Bank, ITC and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Life, Cipla, Divis Labs, Maruti Suzuki and Shriram Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 354.45 points up at 75038.15.

Traders piled up positions in Cables, Airlines, Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Agro Processing, Trading, Defence and Infrastructure sectors during the day.
