Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of eMudhra, Vadilal Ind, The Hi-Tech Gears, Shriram Pistons and Star Cement, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 84.8 points up at 22096.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Medico Remedies, SCI Land and Assets, Compuage Infocom, M K Proteins and Future Supply Chain, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 37 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, UPL, Apollo Hospital and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while LTIMindtree, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 190.75 points up at 72831.94.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Gems and Jewellery, Auto and Pesticides/Agro Chemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, FMCG, Logistics, IT Software and Defence sectors during the day.
