Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of The Hi-Tech Gears, eMudhra, Rico Auto, Reliance Infra and ABB Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 172.86 points up at 22011.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Medico Remedies, Vaxtex Cotfab, M K Proteins, SCI Land and Assets and Compuage Infocom, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 43 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 7 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, NTPC, Power Grid, Tata Steel and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Bharti Airtel, HDFC Life, ONGC, Maruti Suzuki and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 539.5 points up at 72641.19.

Traders piled up positions in Infrastructure, Industrial Equipment, Term Lending Institutions, Electric/Electronics and Engineering sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, FMCG, Logistics, Leather and Apparels sectors during the day.
