Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Nagreeka Export, D P Abhushan, The Anup Engg, Cubex Tubings and Hercules Hoists, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 238.25 points down at 21817.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Akshar Spintex, Future Supply Chain, Vaxtex Cotfab, Mukka Proteins and Sintex Plastics Tech, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 10 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Auto, Kotak Bank, Hindalco and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, TCS, Cipla, Tata Consumer and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 736.37 points down at 72012.05.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Learning & Education, Glass and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, FMCG, Defence, Logistics and Trading sectors during the day.
