Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Solar Ind., Cigniti Tech, Wealth First Port, Niraj Ispat Ind. and Somi Conveyor, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 148.96 points up at 22146.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Prudential Sugar, Vaxtex Cotfab, Stampede Cap(DVR), Ace Integrated Solut and IIFL Finance, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, JSW Steel, Bajaj Finance and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 335.39 points up at 73097.28.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Infrastructure, Term Lending Institutions and Miscellaneous sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Holding Company and Tobacco sectors during the day.
