Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Tata Chemicals, Welspun Invst, Dollar Industries, Cambridge Tech and Laxmi Goldorna House, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tata Chemicals, Welspun Invst, Dollar Industries, Cambridge Tech and Laxmi Goldorna House, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 117.75 points up at 22474.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as IIFL Finance, Lords Chloro, Agro Tech Foods, Credo Brands Marketi and GPT Healthcare, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., UltraTech Cem., NTPC, ONGC and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 408.86 points up at 74085.99.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Gems and Jewellery, Retail and IT Software sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Trading, Logistics, IT - Hardware and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
