Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Ganges Securities, SIL Investments, Wealth First Port, GP Petroleums and DCM Nouvelle, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ganges Securities, SIL Investments, Wealth First Port, GP Petroleums and DCM Nouvelle, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 27.2 points up at 22405.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Lotus Eye Hosp, GPT Healthcare, Digidrive Distributo, Nandani Creation and Indiabulls Intgrtd, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, HDFC Life, Power Grid, ONGC and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while Eicher Motors, JSW Steel, M&M, SBI Life and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 66.14 points up at 73872.29.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Gas & Petroleum, Sugar and Engineering sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Logistics, Trading, Industrial Consumables and Industrial Equipment sectors during the day.
