Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Umang Dairies, Vaswani Ind, AksharChem Ltd, T T Ltd and Moksh Ornaments Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 76.3 points up at 22198.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vibhor Steel Tubes, Euro India Fresh, TCI Express, Sharda Cropchem and Future Supply Chain, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, TCS, IndusInd Bank, Sun Pharma and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance, SBI, Divis Labs and UPL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 305.09 points up at 73095.22.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Glass, IT - Hardware and IT Software sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Logistics, Trading, Mining and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
