Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Renaissance Global, Dynacons Sys, Zuari Global, Bigbloc Const and AVG Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 141.91 points down at 22055.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Credo Brands Marketi, Compuage Infocom, Ebixcash World Money, Whirlpool India and Cosmo Films, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 16 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, SBI, IndusInd Bank, JSW Steel and Tata Consumer were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Coal India Ltd, NTPC, Hero MotoCorp and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 434.31 points down at 72623.09.

Traders piled up positions in Sugar, Real Estate, Rubber, Telecommunications and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Mining, Industrial Consumables, Defence and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
