Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Airo Lam, GRP Ltd, Zaggle Prepaid Ocean, Taj GVK Hotels and Mangalam Drugs, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 74.71 points up at 22196.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Marshall Machines, Capital Small Financ, Future Supply Chain, Madhya Bharat Agro and Matrimony.com, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, NTPC and Kotak Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Coal India Ltd, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors and TCS ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 349.24 points up at 73057.4.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Sugar, Rubber, Industrial Equipment and Media & Entertainment sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Mining, Industrial Consumables, Defence and Logistics sectors during the day.
