Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Orient Press, Sindhu Trade, Apollo Pipes, Orchid Pharma and Keynote Financial, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 64.55 points up at 21782.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as ESAF Small Finance, IKIO Lighting, Stampede Cap(DVR), Medicamen Bio and Vinati Organics, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Inds., SBI, Apollo Hospital, Sun Pharma and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, NTPC and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 167.06 points up at 71595.49.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic, Gems and Jewellery, Shipping and Diversified sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Trading, Defence, Term Lending Institutions and Logistics sectors during the day.
