Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Garware Poly, GeeCee Ventures, TRF Ltd, Nupur Recyclers and S H Kelkar & Co., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 212.55 points down at 21717.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Stampede Cap(DVR), Astec Lifesc, UPL, Suraj Estate Develop and Latteys Industries, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, Power Grid, BPCL, Hindalco and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while ITC, Britannia, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 723.57 points down at 71428.43.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Financial Services, Packaging, Retail and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Tobacco, Logistics, Trading and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
