Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Bhagyanagar Ind, Ajmera Realty, Xchanging Sol, Arvind SmartSpaces and Udayshivakumar Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Bhagyanagar Ind, Ajmera Realty, Xchanging Sol, Arvind SmartSpaces and Udayshivakumar Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 157.71 points up at 21929.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Stampede Cap(DVR), Butterfly Gandhi, Tatva Chintan Pharm, Sheetal Cool and Medicamen Bio, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, HDFC Life, HCL Tech, TCS and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while Power Grid, Britannia, IndusInd Bank, ITC and Kotak Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 454.67 points up at 72186.09.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Gas & Petroleum, Irrigation & Allied Services and IT Software sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Logistics, General, Defence and Tobacco sectors during the day.
