Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Cords Cable Ind, Unichem Labs, Dhruv Consultancy, Aarvee Denims and ENIL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Cords Cable Ind, Unichem Labs, Dhruv Consultancy, Aarvee Denims and ENIL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 82.1 points down at 21771.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as UPL, EPACK Durables, Stampede Cap(DVR), Astec Lifesc and Medicamen Bio, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Coal India Ltd, Sun Pharma, Cipla and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Life and Grasim Inds. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 354.21 points down at 71731.42.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, General, Trading, Gas & Petroleum and Sugar sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Learning & Education, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Defence and Logistics sectors during the day.
