Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

India Tourism, GE Power India, Uma Exports, HUDCO and Oricon Enterpr, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of India Tourism, GE Power India, Uma Exports, HUDCO and Oricon Enterpr, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 28.25 points down at 21697.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Astec Lifesc, Vedant Fashions, UPL, Tata Technologies and Gandhar Oil Refinery, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, Power Grid, Eicher Motors and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while UltraTech Cem., L&T, Grasim Inds., Dr. Reddys and JSW Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 106.81 points down at 71645.3.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, Airlines, Telecommunications, Shipping and Banks sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Construction, Defence, Trading and Apparels sectors during the day.
