Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aries Agro, Jyoti CNC Automation, Modison Metals, Cords Cable Ind and Dolat Invst, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 203.61 points up at 21725.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as GSS Infotech, Latteys Industries, Vedant Fashions, Automotive Axle and VIP Ind., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 46 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 4 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, Eicher Motors, Sun Pharma, Divis Labs and Tata Motors were among top gainers during the day, while L&T, Titan Company, Tata Consumer, BPCL and Kotak Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 612.21 points up at 71752.11.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Miscellaneous, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Construction, Defence, Trading and Gems and Jewellery sectors during the day.
