Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Maral Overseas, Azad Engineering, Orchid Pharma, Tata Investment and Crest Ventures, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 215.5 points down at 21522.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vedant Fashions, Latteys Industries, Polyplex Corp., Tata Technologies and Gandhar Oil Refinery, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 14 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 36 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Tata Motors, Grasim Inds., Eicher Motors and Adani Ent. were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, Titan Company, UltraTech Cem., Bajaj Finserv and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 801.67 points down at 71139.9.

Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in sectors during the day.
