Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Biofil Chem, Emmbi Industries, Malu Paper Mill, Oswal Agro Mill and Shemaroo Entertain, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 101.36 points down at 21352.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Nxtdigital, Lords Chloro, Medicamen Bio, Navin Fluorine and Rajratan Global, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 16 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, NTPC, Coal India Ltd, IndusInd Bank and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Cipla, Bharti Airtel, LTIMindtree and SBI Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 359.64 points down at 70700.67.

Traders piled up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Agro Processing, Leather, Fertilisers and Sugar sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Logistics, Defence, Tyres and Cables sectors during the day.
