Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of MITCON Const & Engg., Rail Vikas Nigam, HP Adhesives, Ganesh Housing and GIC, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 160.16 points up at 21622.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Digidrive Distributo, Stampede Cap(DVR), Blue Coast Hotel, GSS Infotech and Flair Writing Indust, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 41 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, Tech Mahindra and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, Divis Labs and Adani Ports SEZ ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 496.37 points up at 71683.23.

Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in sectors during the day.
