Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Goa Carbons, Ganesh Housing, Shemaroo Entertain, Majesco L and Rane Eng Valve, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 460.35 points down at 21571.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Digidrive Distributo, GSS Infotech, Azad Engineering, Flair Writing Indust and Gandhar Oil Refinery, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 10 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, SBI Life, LTIMindtree, TCS and Infosys were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, Kotak Bank, Hindalco and Axis Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1628.01 points down at 71500.76.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, Cables, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Logistics, Banks, Apparels and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
