Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank, Manomay Tex India, Palred Technologies, MITCON Const & Engg. and Ashiana Housing, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 247.35 points up at 21894.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as M K Proteins, Digidrive Distributo, Stampede Cap(DVR), Raj Rayon and Happy Forgings, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 31 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Infosys, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree and TCS were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, Apollo Hospital, UltraTech Cem., Bajaj Finserv and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 847.27 points up at 72568.45.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, IT Enabled Services, IT Software, Telecommunications and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Defence and Apparels sectors during the day.
