Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Sanginita Chemicals, Oricon Enterpr, Ahlada Engineers, Max India and Akash Infra-Proj, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Sanginita Chemicals, Oricon Enterpr, Ahlada Engineers, Max India and Akash Infra-Proj, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 47.3 points down at 21731.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Penta Gold, Akshar Spintex, SS Infrastructure, Raj Rayon and Bajel Projects, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ent. and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, ONGC, SBI, Coal India Ltd and Infosys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 170.12 points down at 72240.26.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Leather, Consumer Durables, Cables and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, General, Construction, Apparels and Plastics sectors during the day.
