Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Sundaram-Clayton, Innova Captab, Vodafone Idea, Ashoka Metcast and Banka Bioloo, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sundaram-Clayton, Innova Captab, Vodafone Idea, Ashoka Metcast and Banka Bioloo, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 47.3 points down at 21731.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bajel Projects, Akshar Spintex, Muthoot Microfin, Raj Rayon and Brookfield India Rea, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ent. and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, ONGC, SBI, Coal India Ltd and Infosys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 170.12 points down at 72240.26.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Tea / Coffee, Infrastructure and Tyres sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Plastics, General, Construction and Apparels sectors during the day.
