Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Themis Medicare, J Kumar Infra, Gallantt Metal, Syncom Form and Starteck Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Themis Medicare, J Kumar Infra, Gallantt Metal, Syncom Form and Starteck Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 91.95 points up at 21441.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bajel Projects, Penta Gold, India Shelter Financ, SS Infrastructure and Raj Rayon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, Hero MotoCorp, NTPC, Adani Ent. and M&M were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Infosys, TCS and Tata Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 229.84 points up at 71336.8.

Traders piled up positions in Defence, Petrochemicals, Telecommunications, Trading and Chemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Plastics, Miscellaneous, NBFC and Construction sectors during the day.
