Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lakshmi Finance, Starteck Finance, Balmer Lawrie, Sangam(India)and Gyscoal Alloys, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 94.35 points up at 21349.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bajel Projects, Bohra Industries, SEL Manufact, Raj Rayon and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Wipro, HCL Tech, Hindalco, Tata Motors and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers during the day, while Grasim Inds., SBI, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 241.86 points up at 71106.96.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Petrochemicals, Real Estate, Cables and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Plastics, Industrial Equipment, Miscellaneous and Banks sectors during the day.
