Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Starteck Finance, Hindcon Chemicals, Vertoz Advertising, Arman Financial and Lokesh Machines, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 104.9 points up at 21255.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bohra Industries, Bajel Projects, Nandani Creation, Flair Writing Indust and Kabra Extrusion, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Power Grid, Britannia, HDFC Bank and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, HCL Tech and Cipla ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 358.79 points up at 70865.1.

Traders piled up positions in Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications, Trading, Term Lending Institutions and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was witnessed in Plastics, Agro Processing, Auto, NBFC and Construction sectors during the day.
