Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Bajel Projects, Times Guaranty, United Drilling, Vertoz Advertising and Greenply Inds, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 34.45 points up at 21453.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Bohra Industries, Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Nestle India, NTPC, Tata Consumer and Cipla were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ports SEZ, Hero MotoCorp, SBI Life, Wipro and Adani Ent. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 122.1 points up at 71437.19.

Traders piled up positions in Mining, Telecommunications, Aquaculture, FMCG and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Plastics, Apparels, Engineering and Infrastructure sectors during the day.
