Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Coral India Finance, Oriental Trimex, Ashima Ltd, JM Financial and Sreeleather, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 273.95 points up at 21456.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact, Winsome Yarns and Radiant Cash Manage, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, TCS, Infosys, SBI and Adani Ent. were among top gainers during the day, while Nestle India, HDFC Life, Bharti Airtel, SBI Life and Bajaj Auto ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 969.55 points up at 71483.75.

Traders piled up positions in IT Software, Telecommunications, IT Enabled Services, Building Materials and Glass sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Plastics, Airlines, Holding Company and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
