Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Bhartiya Intnl, Shalimar Paints, Datamatics Glob, Precot Meridian and Emami Realty, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 134.75 points up at 20267.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Blue Jet Healthcare, Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact, Winsome Yarns and Fourth Dimension Sol, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, NTPC, Axis Bank, L&T and Britannia were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, M&M, Wipro, HDFC Life and SBI Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 492.75 points up at 67481.19.

Traders piled up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Telecommunications, Tobacco, Media & Entertainment and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Learning & Education, Miscellaneous, Financial Services and Services sectors during the day.
