NEW DELHI: Shares of Navkar Corp, Gufic BioSci, New India Assurance, LGB Forge and Global Education, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 36.55 points up at 20133.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Aether Industries, Virinchi, PowerGrid Infa InvIT, Raj Rayon and Winsome Yarns, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., HDFC Life, Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospital and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid and RIL ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 86.53 points up at 66988.44.
Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in sectors during the day.
