Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

CESC Ventures, Navkar Corp, India Motor Part, Adani Power and Megastar Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of CESC Ventures, Navkar Corp, India Motor Part, Adani Power and Megastar Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 95.0 points up at 19889.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bohra Industries, Karda Const, SS Infrastructure, Penta Gold and Bannari Amman, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Motors, BPCL and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, ITC, Eicher Motors, Cipla and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 204.16 points up at 66174.2.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Power, Gas & Petroleum, Telecommunications and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, IT Enabled Services, Construction, Holding Company and IT - Hardware sectors during the day.
