Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of CarTrade Tech, Kothari Petro, Sharda Motor, Antony Waste Handlin and Venus Remedies, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 30.05 points up at 19425.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as M K Proteins, Hindcon Chemicals, Compuage Infocom, AKG Exim Ltd. and Blue Jet Healthcare, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer and UltraTech Cem. were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, M&M, HCL Tech, Titan Company and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 72.48 points up at 64904.68.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Infrastructure, Retail and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Airlines, Beverages - Alcoholic, Fertilisers and Construction sectors during the day.
