Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

IndiaPowerCorp, AMJ Land Holdings, GeeCee Ventures, KPI Global Infra and Acrysil, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of IndiaPowerCorp, AMJ Land Holdings, GeeCee Ventures, KPI Global Infra and Acrysil, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 48.2 points down at 19395.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as HP Adhesives, Compuage Infocom, Shree Ram Proteins, Lords Chloro and Winsome Yarns, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Apollo Hospital, Coal India Ltd, Power Grid and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., HUL, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Consumer and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 143.41 points down at 64832.2.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Hospitals & Allied Services, Miscellaneous and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Fertilisers, Rubber, Sugar and Packaging sectors during the day.
