Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lagnam Spintex, Nitco, Texmaco Infra, FCS Software and Creative Peripherals, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 5.05 points down at 19406.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Perfect Infraenginee(PP), Godha Cabcon & Insul, Atam Valves, Winsome Yarns and Compuage Infocom, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, BPCL, NTPC, Dr. Reddys and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance, Coal India Ltd, JSW Steel and Divis Labs ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 16.29 points down at 64942.4.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, Telecommunications, Defence, Retail and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was witnessed in Aquaculture, Construction, Fertilisers, Agro Processing and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
