Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Somi Conveyor, The Anup Engg, JP Associates, Plaza Wires and Sical Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 93.65 points up at 19140.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Petronet LNG, V Mart Retail, Godha Cabcon & Insul, Gangotri Text and Arshiya, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, UltraTech Cem., ONGC, RIL and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Axis Bank and Bajaj Auto ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 329.85 points up at 64112.65.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Trading, Real Estate, Learning & Education and Plastics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Agro Processing, Defence, Rubber, Construction and Fertilisers sectors during the day.
