Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Macpower CNC Machine, Zodiac Energy, CreditAccess Grameen, BSE and Ipca Labs, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 260.9 points down at 19281.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as TCNS Clothing, SMS Lifesciences Ind, Gangotri Text, Medicamen Bio and Digjam L, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 2 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 48 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Bajaj Finance, Apollo Hospital, ICICI Bank and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers during the day, while LTIMindtree, Adani Ent., Hindalco, Adani Ports SEZ and UPL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 825.74 points down at 64571.88.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, ReIT, InvIT, Tobacco and FMCG sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Miscellaneous, Sugar, Fertilisers and Paper sectors during the day.
