Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Dhunseri Invst, Bombay Burmah, GKW Ltd, Summit Sec and Prajay Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Dhunseri Invst, Bombay Burmah, GKW Ltd, Summit Sec and Prajay Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 82.05 points down at 19542.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Madhya Bharat Agro, SecMark Consultancy, Rajesh Exports, Tatva Chintan Pharm and Winsome Yarns, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, IndusInd Bank, TCS, SBI Life and NTPC were among top gainers during the day, while ITC, Tata Steel, Divis Labs, HUL and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 231.62 points down at 65397.62.

Traders piled up positions in Holding Company, Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Financial Services and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Irrigation & Allied Services, Airlines, Fertilisers and Construction sectors during the day.
