Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of GKW Ltd, Cinevista Ltd, Signet Ind, IIFL Securities and Sastasundar Ventures, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 140.4 points down at 19671.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Nakoda Group Of Ind, Xelpmoc Design, Rajesh Exports and TCI Express, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 10 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Dr. Reddys, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 551.07 points down at 65877.02.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Cables, Petrochemicals and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Construction, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Irrigation & Allied Services and NBFC sectors during the day.
